Story
Post Dog Attack
Wokingham Vets4Pets, Thames Valley Animal Welfare and the Cats Protection are desperately trying to raise money for this 14 week old kitten.
The previous owners have allowed two kittens in their care to be attacked by the family dog! Sadly one of the kittens did not make it, and the pictures show what has happened to the second.
Phoebe (Wokingham Vets4Pets have renamed her) have taken ownership of the kitten and she is currently undergoing emergency surgery to remove her ruptured eye. Unfortunately the previous owners had no access to funds so they wanted the little girl put to sleep!
Phoebe will stay at the practice in the nurses care until she is strong enough to be rehomed. It will take her time to recover and get used to a world with only limited vision. We are obviously asking for financial help towards her surgery, but also money towards her vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and blood testing that she is now having.
Every kitten deserves the 'best start in life' and hopefully with other people's kindness, Phoebe will go on to make a full recovery and find a loving home <3
