Last year after visiting family in the Philippines our mum returned to the UK with terrible pain in her right arm. A few months later she found out she had stage IV cancer and was told it was incurable… but one year on she’s determined not to let it get the better of her.

Her fight against the disease is ongoing but at the moment nothing is preventing its further spread throughout her body since her cancer has developed a resistance to the treatments she has been having.

There is a huge amount of medical evidence to suggest cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant could slow its spread and possibly bring it into remission… unfortunately the UK government is largely ignoring this evidence.

Other countries however, are taking heed of the research and we are hoping our mum can get life-preserving treatment in Canada.

Unfortunately getting this treatment would be very expensive and so we have launched this page to help fund this treatment, increase awareness about the role of cannabinoids in combating cancer and to press the government to make such treatments accessible in the UK.

We are seeking an amount of £8,000 for travel to Canada and for a course of treatment we believe will have a substantial impact on her chances of recovery.
