Hi all, I am a member of the Philip morant racing team . Sadly many years ago the racing club was shut down due to no staff to run the club , due to this sad situation the club lost all sponsors and funds . I find this incredibly sad due to the fact our club was a world wide known team for our winning iconic car reaching 7th nationally in a final . However I am very pleased to say that last year some college students, who where previously part of the team , found a member of staff to run the club. Still sadly we have no funding and although we have attended multiple races in the previous season , we have faced many challenges due to no funding . One challenge we have faced and are still facing is no radio communications . On the team opening I found 3 radios and some headsets , as radio communications in one of my areas of knowledge , I took them home in hope of getting them to work. However sadly this proved impossible and this is why I have set up this page in hope you can help us raise the funds to purchase new ones . We intend to purchase 8 hand held radios , 1 repeater to ensue full coverage of the race circuit. And one more powerful radio to control the repeater and act as a base unit .
