Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The name of the organisation is Polfit Fitness Studio, hereafter referred to as Polfit.
The purpose of this organisation shall be to promote Health and Wellbeing through the delivery of fitness classes, engagement within the local community through organised events, and the raising of monies for local charities through fundraising activities. It is anticipated that all of our events will remain within Aberdeenshire.
All events organised by Polfit are free to the public without charge. Any donations received will be used to support local charities.
Polfit promotes equal opportunities and no membership fees apply. It is a voluntary action group and is open to any person without regard to creed, race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national origin. This list is not exhaustive.
Any monies obtained by Polfit will be used only for the development of Polfit, or, in the case of a charity event, an appointed charity recipient. Any bank accounts opened for the organisation shall be in the name of the organisation or the owner of Polfit, and will be made available for audit purposes when required.
It is not yet anticipated for Polfit to have an elected committee, decisions will made by the owner and organiser, Milena Tkacz. In the event that a committee is formed, Polfit will be governed within the legislative guidelines and the agreement of the by-laws of the organisation. This extends to the role of appointed committee members, its officers and frequency of general meetings. Polfit does not intend to have paid employees, all events are voluntary.
