    *UPDATE 30/07/21

Me and Elles just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated. Thank you seems too mild a word to express how overwhelming your support is, it’s astounding and I don’t think we have ever felt so loved and supported within the porthleven community friends fromfar and beyond. And to all the anonymous donors, thank you for all the lovely messages and just THANK YOU.

We spent most of yesterday working out what to do...those first few practical phone calls. There is so much to sort and rebuild. But we think the reality set in a bit more yesterday which is hard but in all we are coping and this has made it so much much easier...thank-you so much. And big thanks to our friends that set this up off there own backs. Most importantly we hope to get landed back and running as soon as we can. Love Ross and Elles Xx

So here goes...today an accidental fire broke out Landed Fish & Chip shop in Porthleven. thankfully everyone was ok however they (the owner and friends) sadly lost their dog, most of their belongings, and their beloved business. Ross Sloan who started the business Landed just one year ago has been left numb & devastated.

Running a business is challenging enough and to have started and kept going throughout the pandemic is a remarkable achievement, we are heartbroken to hear of the fire this morning, destroying their place of business-what a kick in the sweets.... if you can help Ross no matter how big or small a donation - it will all help and will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate then please share this with others.

This fund has been set up by Ross and Ellies friends and community in Porthleven to enable us to set up a recovery fund whilst he gets back on his feet and anyone who wishes to help to make a contribution.

Thanks for your support if your able...…

    Big Love x
