    Story

Portsmouth Christian Union is holding our annual Events Week from 13th-17th February 2017. With the theme of "Greater Love?" and a week packed full of exciting events and Gospel talks ranging from free lunches, cookie for a question and acoustic night to a ceilidh and sugar rush night!

We are so excited to reach out to the campus in a big way! But we can't put anything on without the support of people financially. CU is a student led society and rely on donations to put on everything we do!

Some of the guys from the CU have kindly agreed to get their legs waxed to help and raise money for the Events Week! (Dedication to CU or what?!) And if we raise £2,000, Chris Ballard will shave his beard!

We're dreaming big with Events Week this year, so we hope that you will consider sponsoring us in any way, to be able to put on a great Events Week and reach out to more students on campus with the Gospel!

If you would like kept up to date with everything happening during the week of Events Week, please get in contact with one of the CU members or committee with your email address and you will be added to the prayer update email that will be send each day throughout the week.

In less than 2 weeks,we managed to reach our first target of £1,000!God has been blowing our expectations from the very beginning of planning for Events Week! We're trusting in God that he will continue to provide for our financial needs to reach out to more students with the Gospel! With one week to go until our first event, flyering will begin tomorrow to advertise to students on campus about these great events!Be praying this week that we get good conversations with students and an interest in coming to our events! #PompeyCUEventsWeek17
