Last April, I took the journey to my dad's village to Khotang, Eastern part of Nepal. Words cannot describe this beautiful and emotional short trip but, it still brings a smile to my face whenever I reminisce back to it.

I am running the Birmingham Half Marathon and would like to use this opportunity to raise £1500 to re-build a water pipe in Simpani, Bakshila.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Nepal is still recovering from the devastating earthquake in 2015 and unfortunately, rural areas such as my ancestral village isn't a priority to the government. The tragic earthquake has left the pipe which supplied water to this local community damaged. With your donation, this will help:

PROVIDE clean water to 12 homes
PROVIDE clean water to approx. 50 people
PROVIDE water for their livestock (main source of income)
PROVIDE effective sanitation
ALLOW children of the village to go to school (instead of walking to the nearest river to bring water)
