Prep Table is an organisation that provides restuarant quality food, in comfortable community spaces within Edinburgh. Our prices are £12 full price, £6.50 for locals on low incomes and free for those who are referred to us from charitable and community organisations. All tickets are obtained online, so nobody knows what somebody has or hasn't paid for a ticket. Founded by a restaurant chef whose work at Bethany House Resettlement Unit galvanized her belief in the power of food. Helped by a team of chef's, baristas, support workers and most imporantly - service users of our charity partners.

Our first events are at The Charteris Centre, The Pleasance, Edinburgh. We have managed to provide great food with electric hobs and microwaves thus far but we need a new oven to be able to offer the best variety and quality to our diners. This will also allow us to cook for bigger numbers, host classes at the venue for the local community and to extend the cafes to which we supply baked goods to fund our diverse work with charity partners which include Rock Trust, Streetworks, Home Start, Edinburgh Development Group and Women's Aid.
