Project Paw-print Istanbul was started by a group of three women living in Istanbul. Mathilda, Cara and Farah are passionate about animal welfare and saw how easily the lives of many neglected cats and dogs could be improved with some targeted action and mobilisation. Our current mission is three-fold; improve sanitation within our partner shelter, provide urgent veterinary treatment, and most importantly, find warm and loving homes for our fluffy friends.

Due to limited resources, shelter animals in Istanbul are often living in conditions that cause the spread of viruses and disease, as well as depression and psychological issues. Our partner shelter urgently need our help. Some of the animals are in critical condition, and living their lives in cramped conditions surrounded by noise. These are the facts, however your donation can directly improve the lives of these beautiful creatures. Getting them adopted is our main goal, however buying air purifiers, cleaning materials and shelving compartments will drastically improve the lives of the ones stuck in the shelter. Finally, several animals require urgent medical attention. Reaching our target will enable us to provide this.
