The Queens Trust have received a fantastic and rare opportunity to purchase 480 shares in Queen of the South Football Club. The Trust are looking to make this purchase by fundraising close to half the amount required towards the total. The total cost will be £6500 for 480 shares.

The Queens Trust was established in 2005 and in its early years the Trust bought just over 800 shares directly from the club whilst they still had some available. Since then however the Trust shareholding had risen fairly slowly.This has been through a number of purchases from individual shareholders who have kindly contacted us as well as some generous donations of shares. The Queens Trust current shareholding is 1,312 shares.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the Trust and we hope that through this just giving page and a couple of other fundraisers/competitions that we have planned that we can raise half the funds required.

By raising funds this way it will not only show support for one of the aims of the Trust but it will also allow us to keep some Trust funds to continue with our work of supporting Queen of the South and also supporting football in the community.

Some recent examples of Queens Trust contributions include: QoS shirt draw entries, both QoS men and ladies teams player sponsorships, purchasing QoS hospitality for 4 for annual members competition, purchasing QoS club shop vouchers for our share the matchday poster competitions throughout the season, taking tables to support both Stephen Dobbie dinner and Player of the Year awards. Sponsorship of Junior Blues player of year award, sponsoring football kit for local primary school, sponsoring page in football calendar for charity and helping to sell some, stalls at QoS Christmas fair and Programme fair, thank you gift to Stephen Dobbie, donations to QoS community fridge/food bank, entry in Palmerston Colts away shirt draw and much much more over the years!
