Story
We want to show kindness and community spirit to the 81 year victim of the recent horrific rape that took place in Balham, South London in February 2017.
We are two Balham residents who were appalled by the details of this story and our hearts truly go out to the lady involved.
Following conversations through the Met Police working on the case, the lady has given us permission to fundraise on her behalf. Understandably she would like to remain anonymous but we are determined to show her people care and help her move on with her life.
Any size of donation will be an acknowledgment of support and all monies raised will be delivered via the Met Police.

Thank you all for your kind words and generous donations for this fundraising. We've now had confirmation from the Met Police on how we pass on the funds and messages. The lady who the money was raised for has been really touched by everyone's kindness. Many thanks again, Rachel & Liz xx

7 years agoThank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. We've been overwhelmed by the mix of both friends and strangers who have come together. It really has demonstrated the kindness of humanity. We're sure the lady involved will gain support from the kind messages shared and will ensure they get printed out and shared with her. We're going to keep the donations open. The £500 target was an arbitrary amount we chose but we're sure that all of the donations will be very gratefully received. Many thanks again, Rachel & Liz
