Myself and 3 others are going to Romania in the summer to volunteer for 3 weeks with a charity called FAST Romania.

The charity exists to eliminate poverty, deprivation and discrimination, and to promote social integration in Brasov county, Romania. They do this by primarily working with the local Roma communities and running projects that aim to meet educational, work skills and social care needs, together with practical improvements in living conditions for families in need. We are going to work on these projects with them.

The whole trip is organised through the Engineering for Change society at Edinburgh University, and we are holding fundraising events at the University to raise money for the trip. Any donations to help make this trip possible will be very much appreciated!
