A team from Radio Tircoed, the Community Radio Station serving Tircoed Forest Village in Penllergaer and the surrounding area will be broadcasting for 100 hours between 8 am on Friday 5th November and midday on Tuesday 9th November 2021.

The Sponsored Broadcast is to raise funds for the continuing operation of the station, which has been running for 13 years and provides a valued service to all its listeners. This is especially true in the past 18 months when some listeners have felt an increasing sense of isolation during the worst days of the COVID pandemic.

Our running costs increase year-on-year, so it's increasingly important that our sponsored broadcast and other fund-raising events bring in enough funds to pay our bills, especially with the rising cost of electricity putting our finances under pressure in the coming months.
