Story
I have recently taken over as manager of Rainbow Junktion and we are desperate for funds so I have decided to dust off (literally) my running shoes and attempt my very first HALF MARATHON on the 14th of May.
There are just 5 weeks for me to train (all the training programs say you need at least 8 to prepare for the 21km race) so I need as much support and motivation as possible i.e. please be generous :)
Rainbow Junktion is a community cafe based in All Hallows' Church that turns supermarket produce destined for landfill into hearty and nutritious meals served on a Pay As You Feel basis. Currently we are only able to open 2 days a week but with extra funding we can expand our services and opening times.

7 years agoWow thank you so much to everyone who has already supported me in this possibly very foolish endeavour...have just finished a 9km run and have designed a very pretty but hopefully not too optimistic training schedule for the next 5 weeks.
