In 2014 Ruth suffered a stroke at the age of 23. This has left her with locked in syndrome. She is fully aware of her surroundings but is unable move her body. She has full time carers and needs help to do day to day tasks. Ruth has to pay for all of her intense physio out of her own money. A previous fundraising event in 2016 raised money to help Ruth have intense walking physio and she is now able to take a few steps with the help of physiotherapist. Every penny is greatly appreciated in helping Ruth to get back to the amazing young lady that she is. Thank you.
