Weʼve raised £210 to fun the ongoing care and future treatment of Luke Bell
- Funded on Monday, 17th September 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Since his diagnosis in April 2017, Luke has undergone a gruelling course of treatment in his battle against High Risk Neuroblastoma. In April 2017, Lukes family received the devastating news that he had relapsed. The likelihood of a full recovery is now considered to be remote.
This is not the end of the journey. Luke has commenced chemotherapy and after the 2nd cycle a further scan will ascertain the impact of the treatment and a decision made as to whether to continue or cease the trial. This is a terribly difficult situation for his family, as some treatment options require significant funding.
Neil, Alan and Phil are climbing Snowdon in September 2018. This is to provide support for ongoing hospital expenses such as fuel and parking, to provide Luke with activities with his family, as well as preparing the way for future treatment requirements. Please help us today to exceed our fundraising target, which will go a long way to support this young man and his amazing family.
