Story
We have a fantastic park space in the heart of our lovely village, Ratho, but the only equipment there is being decommissioned! We need to raise funds to fill our park with fun play equipment to create a fantastic community meeting place.
Our Friends of Craig Park group already led a petition to save the park, then worked with City of Edinburgh Council to secure funds to have it landscaped. The Council will install and maintain all equipment, we just need to raise the money! We have already raised enough for an exciting viper swing, a toddler unit and some toddler swings. But given the current equipment will soon be removed, we clearly need more.
Please support this local cause, led (voluntarily) by local residents who care enough to put the time in.
Note:
We are applying for larger amounts from funding bodies etc, but we really value the community support! If we beat our target it all goes to buying more equipment for the park. (FYI: a large multiplay feature costs between £15,000 and £25,000!)
