We are now into week 18 of training and this Saturday will see us completing our longest run to date of 30 miles. Stephen will be doing his 30 miles today on account of a weekend of DIY so the girls will be heading out to Cusworth Hall this weekend. There will be others joining them on the way for support and there will absolutely be stops at Cafes and Mcdonalds on the way finishing with celebratory drinks at the Marquis. This week we will be hitting the road for a 29 mile journey starting at 7am from Rawmarsh. They will be supporting Rotherham Hospice this week and will be wearing their lovely red vests. The route will take them from Rawmarsh (Sandhill) - Hooton Roberts - Conisbrough - Sprotbrough - Conisbrough - Denaby (approx 9am) - Mexborough - Manvers - Brampton - Elsecar (11am) - Wentworth - Rawmarsh It is expected to be a warm day and conditions may slow them down so a cheer, a wave or a toot of your horn will no doubt lift their spirits.
