Dear friends and supporters. The ride went really well and very pleased I went on a Friday when all the service users at Abbots Wood were in to greet me as I passed through. A fabulous reception! My friend Nigel helped raise a further £88 on the day as he followed on ahead and rattled the collection tin at all the town stops. Got off to a great start with Kirsty's Place cafe in Bishops Castle giving a donation of £20. The generosity and interest in the plan to buy the loader has been truly amazing. Many thanks all.

One day to go! Sold a second hand bike last Saturday and raised £50 to add to the funds which was great. My nice neighbour Nige is going to support me tomorrow by going on ahead and shaking the bucket as I arrive. How brilliant! Timings tomorrow: Set off from home at 4am, Cleobury Mortimer 6am, Ludlow 7am, Shrewsbury (St Julian's Friars then Abbots Wood) 10.30am. Oswestry for 1.30pm, Ellesmere for 2.40pm, Whitchurch 3.50pm, Market Drayton 4.40pm, Newport 6pm, Coalport 7.45pm and Bridgnorth 8.30pm. That's the plan anyway! THANKS
