HELLO REBBL!

First up, don't be scared by the massive donation target, I had to set SOMETHING, our goal is to just raise anything we can manage.

Why? You may well ask. Well, almost everyone affiliated with REBBL will know Squiggy, hell, anyone who's ever visited the Blood Bowl Reddit will know him. He single handedly founded the REBBRL, our sister league, designed from the ground up to help rookies learn the game, he's since grown that from its humble beginnings of 12 coaches all the way up to the behemoth it currently is, with over 700 spin league teams, at least four separate leagues running at any one time and comfortably over 200 coaches playing there, almost every day. Sure he's had help, but none of this would have been possible without this one man and his dream of making a beginner friendly environment for rookies to learn the game (and by gods is it effective, some of his proteges are already showing up in REBBL playoffs).

"So, we know what he's done, but who IS he?" I'm glad you asked, he's....... just a normal guy, like me, or you, he's a full time carer for his partner and their autistic son, which as you can imagine, precludes full time work, this also makes the kind of money needed to replace a PC in case of emergency non-existant, which is only a problem if the PC you are running goes kaboom...... which it did recently. I have personally supported Squiggy in the past with some old components to keep his ailing rig running, that was almost a year ago, however, it was a bodge job at best and it was always running on borrowed time, time that has since ran out.

Squiggy himself has expressed no desire for us to do this (he's actually more than a little embarrassed that people want to help, but trust me, people WANT to help.) Within 48 hours of him telling the community his PC had died, I received no less than 10 separate PM's asking how people could help, which is why we are the best community I've ever been a part of.
