My auntie has learning disabilities (Downs syndrome). She lost her Mam (my gran) on 18th december 2017, 1 week before christmas to dementia/lung cancer. Prior to this they had an extremely close relationship, literally were each other lives.

Over the years Sue has had to accept the changes and challenges that dementia has brought to our family - my mam having to leave to work to care for both Sue and my gran and then resulting in my gran going into care.

Sue loves everthing Disney and would be a dream to go back to Disneyland Paris (her happy place). We feel this would help with her grief as she misses her mam terribly.
