Story
If we are going to throw ourselves out of a plane (not great with heights) then we want to do it for Relate Jersey and Cancer Research UK Jersey. The money raised will be split equally between the two charities. Relates Chairman Keith who is 75 this year has also agreed to do the skydive as have my friends Tracy and Mike. The skydive will take place on Sunday 24th September.
I am the Manager of Relate and we provide a professional, confidential counselling service to the islanders. We need to train new counsellors to keep up with the demand for the service and this is where our funds will be spent.
Cancer Research is important to me and to the staff at Relate who have all been affected in one way or another by cancer. The funds will go towards the Southampton Cancer Research Centre.
If you would like to join in with our skydive check out the website www.skydivejersey.net the cost of the skydive is payable by the individual and is not deducted from donations. If you can't join in with us please donate and come and watch us on the 24th!

7 years agoMyself and Keith finally got to skydive and it was amazing :) so amazing that I am going to have to do it again! We still have Trace and Mike to do theirs on the 22nd Oct and so far we have raised a total of 8.5k! The funds will be split with Cancer Research UK Jsy and both charities cannot thank you enough! This page is now closed but cheques/cash are still being sent in to Relate so a final total is yet to come. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us so far and please do support Trace and Mike on the 22nd Amanda, Keith, trace and Mike
