Hi all im trying to raise funds to help raise funds for my precious boy cookie . We have had him about two weeks and have had problem after problem . The breeder we had him off lied about his age and took him from his mum around 4 weeks , leaving him with out the vital milk and nutrients he needed . He was not weaned and we were told he ate weetabix . However taking him home we soon seen that he was not interested in eating we changed his diet to purina puppy food and he also would not eat this . I awoke on wednesday morning to find him in a very bad way he was lethargic and pooing alot of blood . I took him straight to the vets who told me he wasnt a day over 6 weeks . He was basically starving and dehydrated as he simply didnt know how to eat . He was given antibiotics and electrolytes and a special food. I spent two days and nights nursing him around the clock every hour . He seemed to pull through and was his happy self untill around lunch time today when he went completely limp and responsive he was rushed to the vets in ystrad mynach and taken straight in for urgent attention .we was told his blood levels were dangerously low and he was anaemic . He was put on an infusion straight away and given glucose . Iv since had an update where i have been told that he has a parasite infection and she thinks it was from the conditions of the breeder . I have paid up to date £600 pound and its going to cost a further £600 at least im desperate to try and raise these funds as i simply cant afford any more . cookie was insured the day we had him but unfortunetly you cant make a claim in the first 14 days or claim after for an existing problem . If any of you could see fit to help howver you can i will be eternally grateful thank you so much guys x
