Hi All

It is with regret that l need to inform you that the owners of football club have decided to move the Club down to a level in which they will be playing local football where players will not be remunerated and so they have elected to drop down several divisions within the football pyramid. While this news is disappointing, l am committed to ensuring that the funds raised through your generous donations are put to good use. After careful consideration, l have decided to distribute the funds evenly between three deserving charities: Alex's Wish, Rainbows, and Inter Care. Below, you will find a brief summary of each charity's mission and the incredible work they do –

Alex's Wish

Alex's Wish is a local charity dedicated to eradicating Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a severe muscle-wasting condition. They fund research and clinical trials aimed at finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for DMD. By supporting Alex's Wish, we are contributing to a future where children affected by this devastating disease can live healthier, longer lives.

Rainbows

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is another local charity which provides care and support for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and also for their families. Located in Loughborough, Rainbows offers a loving and joyful environment where children can receive tailored care and create lasting memories. Your donations will help ensure that Rainbows can continue providing these vital services.

Inter Care

Inter Care supplies surplus medical aid to rural health units in sub-Saharan Africa. Their work ensures that doctors, nurses, and health workers have the medicines and equipment they need to save lives and improve health outcomes. By supporting Inter Care, we are helping to bridge the gap in healthcare provision for some of the world's most vulnerable communities.

If you would prefer to have your donation returned instead of being redistributed, please let me know by 31st May 2024 and l will arrange a refund. I really do appreciate your support and understanding and would like to thank you again for your generosity.
