Dawson was diagnosed with a rare 0.9 in q million cancer called Hepatoblastoma. Several types of chemotherapy have been used to treat the cancer, sadly none of these have worked. The cancer is now chemo resistant. Dawson's parents are now in talks with a Doctor in Cincinatti to help treat Dawson. It's going to cost hundreds of thousands of pounds for the treatment to happen, so I thought that I would try to help through raising money for Dawson's treatment. I will be running the Chesterfield half marathon, for those of you who know me you will be aware that I am always saying that I will train/run for such events and never actually do them! Through raising money to help with Dawson's treatment I am committed to my training and completing the half marathon.
