Ride for Rhinos is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose aim is to raise a hugely ambitious target of ZAR 1,000,000 (£50,000) to contribute towards rhino anti-poaching projects and conservation work in Southern Africa.

In April 2021 a team of intrepid motorcyclists from around the world will ride 10,000km over 33 days through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa to raise awareness of our cause, visiting the projects in each country that the money we raise will go to support.

By supporting us you are contributing to a number of conservation projects that have a direct positive impact on the welfare of wild animals and their environment, as well as raising awareness of threatened species and helping to improve habitat conservation.

The projects that we are proud to be supporting are:

SAN Parks (South Africa) - 50% of funds raised will go to the Kruger Park anti-poaching unit to aid the APU Rangers in their fight against poaching and to facilitate the building of new purposeful accommodation for rangers, looking after the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect our wildlife.

Mother Africa (Zimbabwe) - 10% of funds will go to this local project, focusing on expanding anti-poaching efforts and working on the elimination of wildlife-human conflict in the country.

Vic Falls Anti-Poaching Unit (Zimbabwe) - 10% of funds will go towards their hard-working anti-poaching unit, who work tirelessly to put an end to poaching in the Victoria Falls Area.

Gondwana Collection (Namibia) - 30% of funds will go to the Gondwana Tree Planting project, which will fund the planting of 3,000 indigenous Quiver trees in the Gondwana Nature Reserve. This project is working towards improving ecosystem balance in the area and is having a hugely positive impact on the wildlife and habitats in Namibia.
