On the 13th May 2018, a few members of Leeds University Rugby League will be running the Leeds Half Marathon. This is part of our ongoing campaign to raise awareness of mental health issues in memory of one of our teammates, James Burke. He passed away on April 30th 2017 from suicide. This affected every member of the club in a number of ways, and we are committed to making his life a legacy and doing our best to make sure that this never happens again within our club, and our university. We have devoted ourselves to live healthier and more active lives both mentally and physically, learning from James' memory every day. For this reason we seen it as a suitable challenge to complete the half marathon this year in leeds, and a challenge it will be indeed by the looks of some of those rigs...
