Hi I'm Rob :)

Every year I give up alcohol for a few months to raise money for research into the absolute dick that is cancer. The last couple of years having been particularly bad in a personal sense.

It's always a big thing for me to lay off the booze, as I do like a drink or two and being a musician I'm around it a fair bit.

This year the money I raise will go to helping fund treatment for the Manchester legend that is Cleft/GUG boss axe-man Dan Wild-Beesley, who needs to raise the rather pricey sum of £50,000 to receive cancer treatment that is not covered by our NHS. Also, I will feel healthier in mind, body and wallet. I know a lot of people are fundraising for this and every little helps as some awful supermarket once said. This is a longer one than I normally do, so it'll be a stretch. I'm starting on 4th September and I'll be 'back on the boddle' in late December, just before Xmas. :) Please read Dan's story on his Just Giving page below.
