Helping Dogs in Romania is a small group on Facebook trying to make a difference to abused dogs not only in shelters but abandoned inhumanely on the streets and forests often left to starve and often tied up in plastic bags .In the 3 + years we have been formed we have made such a difference to over 500 dogs and we at the moment have 67 still in Romania that we have to care for by feeding and paying any bills .https://www.facebook.com/groups/561795387297257/ We only can get funding by the generosity of our members and that is done mainly by our auction and shop. Because we have saved so many dogs we now need to replenish our funds urgently to save more dogs and bring them over for adoption to the UK and this costs us a lot. We, as a group ,care so much for not only dogs but any animals we can help to make a better life for them and ,therefore, we are their only voice. In Romania, euthanization is cruelly administered where the dogs die in agony over sometimes a period of time. It is distressing and barbaric and thus we try and save as many as we can but to do this we need on going funding.
