Story
When it opens in 2017, the Queensferry Crossing will be the main route for traffic crossing the Forth. Unlike the Forth Road Bridge, it will have no pedestrian walkway which makes this event a very special moment in time.
I am going to walk across the bridge on the 3rd of September. I don't like heights. My legs will be jelly. But this is one of those never to be done again experiences. Luckily I won't be alone as I have two friends that are as daft as me.
I thought I would raise a few pennies for my eldest sons ASD classes while I'm up there. There are 24 pupils in the supported classes. We are continually fundraising for equipment, excursions, opportunities and educational resources we don't have extra money for.
Thank you.

I'm Sharon. I am the secretary for the A Team for Robert Memorial Primary School in Lanark. The school has 24 pupils in supported classes. These pupils have autism. My son has been in this school for 4 years and it's not just helped him, but our family too.
