Hi folks my name is Ronan Bradley an I was involved in a RTA in Thailand in 2004 were I suffered 31% 3rd degree burns and spent a short 8 days in a Thai hospital then made the long journey home back to Ireland on an economy flight were I shocked and baffled not just myself but top surgeons around the world who said I should of been in ICU instead of traveling home on an economy seat were I then spent a further 3 months in the Burns Unit in Belfast and since then I still be in and out of the Burns Unit receiving reconstructive surgery every 4/5 months and it's my motto in life that it's always nice to give a bit back in life were since then trough fundraising nights at different times we raise much needed funds to buy equipment for the Burns Unit, last year we set up a Facebook group page called Newry premiership slagging group were each member donates a fee at the end of the football season for the friendly banter all year and it's donated to a different charity each year and last season we raised £2820 for the KBRT Newry and this years chosen charity is the Burns Unit Belfast which is a charity close to my heart were it benefits 100% of each pound raised in we're much needed equipment is bought and we deliver it straight into the unit to help other burns victims and the staff on a daily basis to make there day less daunting while in the Burns Unit..folks it's from the bottom of my heart I appreciate every donation no matter how big are small it is because when it comes to fundraising every penny makes a difference... thank you each and everyone of you who donate it sure means a lot to me and it will sure mean a lot to the staff and patients also who use this equipment were it's always nice to put a smile on someone's face xxx
