A BRAVE three-year-old boy is fighting for his life because of a hereditary blood cancer which he may get again in adulthood.

Dilan Rashed, from Tolladine, Worcester has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (corr) after his father's sister died from the disease aged 11.

The disease is a soft tissue tumour in his testicle and it is life threatening.

He is a very active boy, liked going to the park and doing activities but he has a lot less energy to do things now.

"Because he started chemo so early, he has a good chance of survival.

"But without being able to put a percentage on it, it is more than likely he will get it again as an adult."

Dilan was diagnosed with the disease in December after an infection was found and one of his testicles had grown bigger than the other.

Now his family want to do their bit to help raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital, where Dilan is cared.
