Hi all, Thank you for visiting my JustGiving crowdfunding.

I have decided to take on the crazy challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2018. As a non-runner, I know this will be incredibly tough but I am training hard in aid of a fantastic charity. To help my training, I've joined my local running club and have taken part in a few 5k & 10k's.

I have chosen to raise money for The Catrin Vaughan Foundation, a registered charity that's very close to my heart as Cat was one of my best friends. The foundation was set up in Catrin's memory. Catrin tragically died in an accident on her way to work, she was a teacher at the Learning Resource Centre at Ysgol Glannau Gwaun in Fishguard. All the children within her class had additional learning needs.

The foundation has been set up to help children with additional learning needs with their education by proving facilities and equipment not normally provided by the local educational authority. These children just need that little bit extra to achieve some of the things that other children can.
