Story
For those of you that don’t know, Pete Roscoe is my Uncle. A man that I have always looked up to and very much respected.
He walked into Liverpool general hospital, the day before his 66th Birthday with a pain in his chest. Within 30 minutes of being there, he was paralysed from the chest down. The next day Pete underwent an 8hr op to remove a spontaneous blood clot from his spinal chord, with catastrophic results.
Pete spent over six months in hospital and has now been discharged as a complete paraplegic. After exhausting life savings and being un-eligible for help from the state, Pete has been left with a bleak outlook.
I have made it my mission to run, walk or CRAWL a series of Marathons from Reading half marathon, to the Mount Snowdon 50 mile ultra marathon. Please get involved and help us raise enough money to be able to buy the nessecary mobility equipment that will greatly improve Petes quality of life.

6 years agoThank you EVERYONE for all your support and donations this year. We managed to get all the challenges done and dusted, which is a big thumbs up. The page is coming to an end and we have until 30th December to get any last donations in. Thank you again and have a great Christmas.

6 years agoSo Snowdon...... Eeesh! Well let’s just say, if I’d have known how hard it was going to be, I would have ran 1000 miles just to avoid having to do it haha. This was by far one of the hardest physical challenges I have ever done in my entire life. I could have done without getting geographically challenged 3 miles from the end and adding an extra 5 miles on to the already brutal 50 haha. Anyway... looking past the PTSD 🤣, It was an amazing day, with amazing views and I am very fortunate to have been able to complete such an amazing race.
