Rosemary Gardens Playgroup is a small inner city playgroup on the borders of Islington and Hackney, the children that attend are under 5's. Rosemary Gardens is a registered charity and receives a grant for the children that attend but this grant is sometimes not enough to cover all of the things that we would like to do for the children of the group, this is where we are asking for your help! The Building that we currently reside in is in great need of revamp and repair. Over the years we have fundraised for various interior needs i.e. toilets, new windows and furniture. We have a small outdoor area for the children to use but it has been neglected though lack of funding. We are hoping to give the children a more inviting place to play by giving our outdoor area a much needed make over. Some of the improvements we would like to make are erecting a new fence around our play area as at the moment the fencing is not adequate. We would like to get a play unit which includes and slide and a climbing frame and a playhouse where the children can use roll play to help develop their personal, social and emotional development. we would also like to be able to buy new outdoor toys and out door furniture for the children to be able to sit outside and read books or be creative. The playgroup walls are in serious need of a re-paint and if enough money is raised we would like to get plastic cladding. if you think you can help please donate and the staff and the children at Rosemary Gardens will be eternally grateful!
