Story
I have been collaborating with "Carriers of Hope" to tell the story of the incredible love that motivates the work of this charity, which supports over 1000 families in Coventry who are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants.
My aim has been to try to capture the beauty of each person.
In September, I will be showing the drawings I have made in 42 window bays in a Chapel at Coventry Cathedral. I am hoping to raise the money to fund a frame and a stand for each of the 42 drawings which will form the main part of the Exhibition. If sufficient funds are available, I would like to make a book about the work, interspersed with text from very moving interviews with some of the clients at Carriers of Hope. Books can be sold to raise funds for Carriers of Hope. Making the books will cost a further £6200.
Each image will cost £60 to frame and put on an individual stand. In return for your sponsorship of an image, I will give you a print of your choice of any Carriers of Hope drawing which you can select from my website: www.rosiebrownfineartist.com
You can email me your choice through the Contacts page on the website.
Thank you for your support.

7 years agoA really exciting update from today - with money pledged and given towards this project, we have now passed £1000, which means I can commission the carpenter to make the stands. A big thank you to everyone who has donated so far. If you haven't yet donated and would like to, there are still two weeks left.
