For the last few months I've been involved with an amazing group called Interfaith Activists. It's been a wonderful opportunity to get to make fantastic friends from all round the country and from all different backgrounds but as the name suggests this isn't the main focus of the group - our focus is action. We're on our way to Calais this week to volunteer with the incredible organisation Help Refugees where we will be helping in the warehouse to provide hot meals and vital clothing and other supplies to the refugees. This is a rare opportunity to know exactly where your donations are going and that it will be put to good use as I will physically withdraw the cash and give it to Help Refugees while I'm there.
