I have loved Reindeer as long as i have loved Father Christmas! There is something magical about them even if they don't get to pull a sleigh full of presents.

Reindeer haven't always done very well in the U.K but Scotland's northerly climate is better suited and one of the largest herds of reindeer is in the Cairngorm national park. There is a small herd of elderly reindeer not far from Puffin Croft and a valuable resource in understanding all they need to be happy and healthy.

I would love to bring two reindeer to the Croft for visitors to enjoy all year round, as well as creating a magical Advent experience and hopefully a breeding program. Each reindeer though costs in the region of £2000 and as they can't be alone, 2 reindeer is beyond the means of this little petting farms budget.

All contributions no matter how small come with a special invitation to a donors only drinks and nibbles evening to meet the reindeer once they are at Puffin Croft
