Surrey Square Primary school is in one of the most deprived areas of London. They are trying to open up a school library so that the children can have easy access to books, but they have zero budget. I am running the Vitality 10K to raise money to buy books for the library. Working in publishing myself, I have a real passion for books and enjoy being between the pages of a book. I would like to see the children at Surrey Square Primary enjoying access to books, to enable them to have a love of reading as they develop through their school years.
