I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon 2016 for The Gwent Defibbers.

The Gwent Defibbers is an ICD Support Group for patients that have an ICD fitted. This support group was established to help and encourange the indiviuals affected and their families to talk about and deal with their lifestyle changes and how their ICD has affected them.

This support group has helped my father cope with having an ICD fitted himself, and has answered all the questions that he has about the device. By talking with others and recieving advice and support from guest speakers etc. has comforted him in the fact that he knows that there is a support group that my farther, and close family can turn to for help.
