A huge earthquake struck Iran, Iraq and Kurdistan on Tuesday 14th November. The true scale of the earthquake has not been revealed. Members of our congregation have family living in that region, and so we know that there are many villages in the mountainous areas that have not yet been assessed or reached by rescuers. Several thousand people have been killed and there is an unknown number trapped and dying. We have a direct link to a hospital in Kermanshah Province, where many children are without parents, and resources are virtually gone. We are appealing for money to buy clothing and milk for the little ones. One pound will pay for a tub of formula powder in Iran.
