Story
Since helping out with the Syrian refugee crisis, I have wanted to help communities in need, with an emphasis on supporting children. I have found a year-round project in rural Nepal teaching English and maths to children. Nepal is a country where around 25% are below the poverty line, a position which was worsened by an earthquake 2 years ago which pushed 1 million people into poverty, necessitating the provision of skills to help people out of the poverty gap. I will be working with www.originalvolunteers.com.
