My name is Sam Logan and I am in year ten at LVC. I have been offered the opportunity to go on a 4 week long trip to Peru in the summer of 2018. During the trip I will be living in the local communities and helping out by taking part in projects, such as building a new shower block, a new class room etc... As well as the local projects I will be going in to the amazon rainforest where we I will be learning about deforestation. I will also be trekking up Machu Picchu in five days hoping to reach the summit. To allow me to go on this once in a life time opportunity I have to fundraise £4000 (not including my very expensive vaccinations).

In order to raise funds for my trip I have decided to take on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris during May half term. I will be completing this epic trip over two days and will be accompanied by my Dad To keep the costs of the trip to a minimum, we have cashed in Tesco points and other reward cards for travel and hotels.
