"The Pencilcase Appeal"✏️

As some of you are aware, my mum has recently been to The Gambia after spending a week visiting long distant family members and exploring African culture. She was incredibly touched by what she had seen through the sheer amount of poverty and starvation of children and families.

As a result of this, I would like to introduce the "Pencilcase Appeal"... Though lots of children are fortunately in education in Gambia; many schools have lack of resources and educational infrastructure. As well as this, lots of children drop out of school at the age of 6 because their families unfortunately cannot afford to pay school fees. This leaves the literacy rates way below average in Gambia.

With the help of your generous donations, I am looking to raise some money to help buy stationery and other educational materials, for children in schools across Gambia. With the hope of visiting Gambia myself at the end of this year.
