We're raising money to provide basic aid (food, water, medication, nappies, milk, sanitary products etc) for refugees currently stuck in a refugee camp on Samos Island, Greece.

Over the last 5 years i've lived and worked on Samos, and recently have seen the horrific plight of Syrian refugees who have made the dangerous journey to the island.

At present, roughly 2500 refugees are stuck in inhumane conditions in a makeshift camp on Samos, and are bearing the brunt of winter without basic basic provisions.

We're launching a short campaign with Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation (based on Samos) to raise funds to buy the basic things refugees desperately need.

All money raised will be spent in Samos by Archipelagos who will distribute the aid on our behalf. We ran a similar successful campaign in 2015 when the numbers of refugees arriving to Samos was peaking. The refugees we met had horrific stories to tell, but were extremely positive and very grateful to receive aid bought with peoples donations.
