Hi and welcome to my JustGiving site....

In 2020 I am going to Peru for 4 weeks as part of a scheme run by Camps International to work on projects which will have a life changing impact on the communities. This will include working on education, housing, healthcare and sanitation, food and water security and environmental protection.

Aside from having the opportunity to experience a truly inspiring country, I will work alongside other individuals to carry out humanitarian projects.

So why Peru?

In Peru , 54% of people in rural communities are living below the poverty line without proper access to healthcare or education.

33% of under 15s are employed rather than in basic education

and 18% are malnourished, lacking fresh fruit and vegetables

I will have to finance the entire cost of the trip and in order to achieve this I will be undertaking various fundraising activities over the course of the next 18 months. Any donations to this great cause will be greatly appreciated by not only myself but the communities I am going to help.
