On Sunday, 26th of February my two small children and myself will be walking across the Humber Bridge to raise funds to travel to Uganda to work in the teaching hospital of a large town. By doing this I will gain valuable skills and hopefully give a little back.

Uganda has a very different health care system to the UK were there is little money within this system, yet the nurses overcome the daily challenges and deliver care their patients. As a student nurse preparing for my new career I find this very inspiring.
