We are hosting this fundraising campaign and events for our beautiful sister and friend, Helen Thompson.
Sadly on 2nd October 2015, as many of you are aware, Helen was diagnosed with non-curable stage 4b adenocarcinoma cervical cancer. Most cervical cancers are squamous cell cancer however 10-15% are adenocarcinomas making Helen's diagnosis a rare form of cancer.
Helen is a fighter and won't be giving in to this horrible disease.
Helen will start her fight against this disease on 12th october 2015 with chemotherapy as radiotherapy is not an option at this late stage.
All money raised will be shared between the bexley wing at st James hospital where helen will have her treatment and a trust fund for her two girls, Lucy and Hannah.
