We have over 80 children in the swimming club who regularly train between 3 and 12 hours per week, they compete across the country either as a team or individually. They are dedicated to swimming but more than anything else they do it because they enjoy it. The coaches give their time for free and many parents find creative ways to help raise money. The blocks will help the children to train with the equipment they will then use when competing, thereby giving them a better chance. Swimming builds many interpersonal skills as well as fitness. Each block costs £1,000 we have already bought 3 we now need to buy another 3 so that we have 1 per swim lane.
