My husband and i wed in 2015 .. after lifes ups and down we never thought we would meet a true soulmate but we did ... he is me and i am him .. with bonkers personalitys ..lust for life .. and wanting the best for each others children we had found our reflection . Steve had 2 beautiful daughters as i had one beautiful daughter and they soon formed a sister bond as he made a bond with my 2 grown up sons ...my dad suddenly died and even though steve had had a operation on both feet he stepped up and sorted out everything for my family in a time of extreme pain ... i sat back and watched his kindness to all ..which took our love to a different level ..i was really close to my dad ..now steve had took on his role watching out for everyone . Then the unthinkable happened before our first wedding anniversary... after going to doctors with bad stomach pains he was finally after 2 months given a ct scan which in the same day i returned home from work to have him tell me he had a ripped bowel due to a tumour which was cancer which had spread to his liver ...time stood still as we hugged and cried ...why us! everything so right! We carnt b ripped apart!! Our fears were confirmed as terminal with life expectancy 9 months to 3 yrs .... but our lifes not over ...we wont give up ..hes had 11 rounds of aggressive chemo ... and he still trys to live life to the full ... laugh ... we cry sometimes but hope and drive to see our children between us grow ... girls of 10..12...15 ... big boys of 22 and 26 ..they need us like we need a hubby and a dad .. if you have any time to do events and get sponsered or donate something every little helps ... i know steve would help you as he does anyone ... kindest man to everyone he meets ....love wife sarah
